How come rappers are too lazy to get guitar lessons bro?
Rap lacks the required skill to play metal. Metal is the only good music, so stop this embarrassment.

Guitar and guitar lessons.?
Well I've been playing guitar for a couple of years self taught . I'm pretty decent at guitar but I want to get better obviously and I'm still in the processes of self teaching and what not. However, would taking guitar lessons help at all? I'm thinking about taking them but I want to know if they actually help. Maybe some one who has took guitar lessons could give me some tips. Just like if it helps and what kinds of things would they teach and what not there. Thank you.

Why are guitar lessons very expensive?

Giving someone guitar lessons?
Okay,so there is this girl that is 2 years older then me,and she works for the program called " Access" which is a program for people who need help with getting the skills to live on your own.Well I have been taking guitar lessons for about 4 months now,and she wants to take guitar lessons, but they charge her up to like 50 dollars or more, she has this acoustic guitar that she had for a year and never learned how to play it,so I was thinking to give her guitar lessons for like 2 dollars?Do you think that is fair and right?I have a Electric guitarI know these Chords A,3 different ways of doing the A chord,A7,Am,B,B7,c,D,E,Em,F,G,and 2 different ways of doing the F,D,and the E chord.FYI this girl doesn't have the internet

Should I keep taking guitar lessons with this guy?
I am currently taking guitar lessons because I love musc and think it would be fantastic to play. Up until a year ago, I had no understanding of musical notation whatsoever, so I started taking lessons from this guy once a week for $22. Right now, I still don't know how to really play except for little finger practices and a very small bit of chords. However my friend who is in a band and has taken guitar lessons from a different guy for a year as well, knows how to play well. I have questioned my teacher about why he hasn't taught me more, and he says that I am developing skills for later, and that I should trust him because it will pay off later. My question is, should I keep taking lessons from this guy and wait to see if it pays off or try a new teacher...? as an added note, I don' think it involves my own practice, as I have questioned him about my habits and he said that I was moving at a normal pace

Should I stop taking guitar lessons?
Well I really don't want to continue taking lessons but I wanna continue playing guitar.....And the reason is of course the teacher. He always yells at me whenever I'm doing something wrong and he just makes me hate going to the guitar lesson . I feel like I can't express myself when playing guitar and that he has limited my playing by making me do some things the way he wants. For example strumming . I don't think there's only one way to strum is there? Everytime I have guitar lessons I get really nervous and anxious thinking that he'll find something to correct in everything I do and it really brings me down.I was about to cry because I didn't get what he was talking about and he was yelling at me the other day. So yeah that's why I just wanna stop taking guitar lessons. I really do LOVE playing guitar and I think I can teach myself since I know the basics chords, note scales, barre chords, fingerpicking . All I want is to just enjoy it and be free to express myself through it. Can someone tell me what to do?Am I right?Should I just stop taking lessons?

What are bass guitar lessons like?
I play bass guitar in my school freshman Jazz Band, and I pretty much know how to play because I play regular guitar outside of school and I take lessons. I am liking bass guitar a lot though, and I am wondering for anyone who has taken bass guitar lessons, what are they like? Do places that offer guitar lessons offer bass guitar lessons? What do you do? Do you think I would enjoy it more than guitar?
