My google chrome search engine is now ask.com?
I restarted my computer and now when I search something on google chrome it goes to ask.com instead of google I hate it, can someone help me change it back please.

I want to be able to pretty much search for anything and not have to worry about laws and shit. I know about the " deep web" and .onion stuff....but I'm no good at converting my PC to use that stuff. Is there any search engines that are english....so I can read them but don't have to worry about international issues. When I type anything into google it directs me to the normal page of results. That is good. When I click on the blue links it gives me, it get transfered to " GimmeAnswers" or asdvd.com or something. How to remove Veoh search engine?
Installing the Veoh Web Player was a mistake, so I first ran a complete uninstall using Revo Uninstaller that removed all traces of the program from the system, and then proceeded to remove the toolbar from Firefox.Both are now removed, but one irksome bugger remains this " Veoh Web Player Customised Web Search" .Every time I remove it via " Manage Search Engines" , the annoying thing keeping coming back. I can safely say I will detest the damn adware forever, but how can I remove this search engine option, when it keeps cropping back up?

When I go to the control panel on google.co.uk cse in the " look and feel" tab, there is an option " results only" , that allows u to use your own search box, and the custom search engine displays the results. Search doesn't work in Windows 7?
For some reason, I can't search for files or folders in Windows 7. I type keywords of files that I know exist on my hard drive into the " search" window, but nothing comes up. Is it possible I have the feature turned off? How do I fix it?
